Explore Your Watershed Address!

The Barnegat Bay watershed is the entire land area that drains to the Barnegat Bay-Little Egg Harbor estuary (Barnegat Bay). It is comprised of 11 subwatersheds and the barrier island communities. Each subwatershed drains into a particular stream, creek, river or groundwater which then flows into Barnegat Bay.

Below you will find a map of Barnegat Bay watershed and it's different subwatersheds. Use this interactive map to find detailed information about your watershed address. Your watershed address is determined by the destination of rainwater draining from your neighborhood. Simply select a subwatershed on the map below or click on the name your municipality on the left hand side of the page. You may also toggle off and on different elements of the map to view.
