Dr. Jivoff holds a B.A. in Biology, an M.S. in Environmental Biology, and a Ph.D. in Zoology. His credentials are too numerous to list here, but he has conducted extensive research in the Barnegat Bay, and has been invited to present for institutions such as the Smithsonian Marine Station, the University of Delaware, Rutgers University, the Conrad Lorenz Institute in Vienna, and more. He is a member of the Barnegat Bay National Estuary Programs Science and Technical Advisory Committee and volunteers for many secondary school programs and local environmental groups.

His presentation could include information on Blue crab biology (especially potential fisheries impacts on reproduction); marine invasive species in New Jersey (especially green crabs); experiential education opportunities at Rider University; impacts of bulkheads on species diversity, organism abundance and habitat quality. Dr. Jivoff will need your group to provide a computer projector.

He will present to your Adult, College, High School, Middle School, and Elementary School group on weekdays (including evenings, depending on his teaching schedule) and on weekends (including evenings). He is willing to travel approximately 1-2 hours from the Trenton area and would not need to be reimbursed for his travel expenses. There is no charge for Mr. Jivoffs program.
